December 16, 2009 - Today I wrote with Brian and read for Act One and tried to help on Ashes with Chris and didn’t feel like I had any time to myself. But at the end of the night, I read this article about a missing boxer named Sweet Jimmy, and was oddly fascinated.
December 15, 2009 - Christmas shopping finished. I bought these shoes for myself but I’m not sure I’m going to keep them. But I probably will.
December 13, 2009 - After a frustrating but enjoyable day shopping, Emily and I went to Father’s Office and ordered the 2008 Anchor Steam Christmas Ale (it’s the big bottle in the ice bucket). I do mean 2008, as FO have been aging twelve of last year’s bottles for the whole year. It was really good, amongst the best beer drinking of my life. We even got Trent to stop by and taste, and to snap a picture.
December 12, 2009 - When you work all day on a Saturday, it is nice to have a rad girlfriend who will bring you the door to her ginger bread house even though you were the one who couldn’t hang out with her all day.
December 11, 2009 - Certain people have elevated twitter trending topics to an art. They tend to be black. And they tend to be incredible. I got involved in #ifsantaWASblack but then kind of felt racist, so this is a follow up. I probably should have also thrown my hat in the ring for #youknowyouneedlotion or #nevertrustamanthat or the variety of other incredible trending topics that Brian and I distract ourselves with every day.
